MariaDB Upgrade – 12th August 2020 06:30 – Scheduled

Event Description:
As a part of our ongoing commitment to stability and performance, Our Engineers will be performing a MariaDB (formerly MySQL) upgrade on our hosting servers. This upgrade involves upgrading from MariaDB 10.2 to MariaDB 10.3. The new version comes with numerous performance and feature enhancements.

Scope:
Initially the service will be taken offline for a few minutes while we synchronise a full offline backup to ensure rollback safety. Later during the work the service will be intermittently unavailable while files are updated and restarted.
